PowerShell scripting tip

  1. Copy and paste the script from the source. This can be anything from notepad a web page to a script editor like Visual Studio or Primal Script 4.1. When pasting the ctrl + V wont work but right click around the prompt line and paste.
  2. Drag the script file from an explorer view of your scripts directory drop it onto the shell prompt line and hit enter.
  3. Type in the path of the script file at the shell prompt and hit enter
